My 5 Minute Face

Hey you!

So you know those days when you watch one too many Youtube videos, read one too many chapters in a book or blogs and its like oh dear… I have 5 mins to put my face on! Well this is my go-to products for these occasions. I hope you will find helpful πŸ™‚

  • No.7 Essentially Natural FoundationΒ Screen Shot 2016-10-20 at 17.30.29.png

I have this in the shade cool vanillaΒ as I do get quite pale and it matches my skin tone really well. It is great for providing the perfect amount of coverage that is not at all heavy, so it feels like your skin is still breathing (which is always nice). Yet itΒ still evens out my skin colour, any redness I might have is gone and lightly covers any blemishes.

  • Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer – Shade 1 & 2

I use the Light (1) shade under my eyes as I unfortunately suffer with quite dark under eye circles. I then use the medium (2) shade for any blemishes that my foundation didn’t quite cover such as around the nose and any spots. Its great stuff, honestly it stays in place and covers anything really well. The only thing is I normally put it on the back of my hand then on where I need it, or on an application sponge rather then use the dabber it comes with. I just think bacteria would be spread around my face else, which is not a nice thought O.o.

  • Rimmel Powder – 004 SandstormScreen Shot 2016-10-20 at 17.31.09.png

This powder is always one I go back to, it keeps me from going too shiny throughout my day and doesn’t look too cakey or anything πŸ˜€ happy days! Plus the best bit is that its like Β£4 or something πŸ˜€

  • Bourjois Blush – 34Β Rose D’or

Screen Shot 2016-10-20 at 17.31.45.pngThis little blush has been worth its weight in gold, it is more of a summer/spring shade but I can still rock it out on a colder day, just more lightly to gave a youthful glow to my cheeks πŸ™‚ It also smells amazing and I am in love with the different shades running through it, bits of gold and pink. Simply beautiful.

  • Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara – Medium BrownScreen Shot 2016-10-20 at 17.35.08.png

This is great for this kind of day when you don’t have much time, power always seems to be something that takes a little bit of time for me when it comes to eyebrows. So when I am in a rush I skip that step and go straight for this, which is super easy to use and sets the hairs in the right direction. I also got a slightly darker shade then my natural eyebrow to make them actually look like they exist πŸ˜€ I have very blonde eyebrows and it would look like I didn’t have any at all else πŸ˜›

  • No.7 Lash Impact Mascara- Black

Screen Shot 2016-10-20 at 17.34.55.pngNow this little beauty has been my go-to mascara ever since I discovered it, maybe 1 and a half years ago now. It very very rarely clumps on me and separates my lash’s really well. It doesn’t add a great deal of length but as mine are pretty long anyway thats not an area I need.

As you can see I put all the links where I spoke about them, so you can check them out if you are interested πŸ™‚ If you have any questions please ask πŸ™‚ Also let me know your routine, I’ve had this one for a little while now and i’m looking to try a couple new things πŸ˜€

Thanks for reading!

Book List

Well hello there strangers πŸ˜€

I have been a busy little bee getting a new flat, new job and well moving in with a boy! Lots of new things which I might do a little post about at a later date πŸ™‚ For now, as we head into autumn when the weather calls for sweaters and boots (one of my favourite time of year! so buzzed!) it becomes a great time of the year to start nesting on the sofa of an evening and reading with a cup of tea… of course :3. I thought i’d let you into what books i’m planning to read and if you have any other suggestions please let me know.

  • Gone Girl, Gillian FlynnΒ – Now I know I am a little late on the uptake for this one but i’m currently 1\3rd of the way through and its getting really interesting now. I haven’t seen the film yet and always love reading a book before seeing how they develop it for the big screens.
  • The Girl On The Train, Paula Hawkins – I recently picked this up from a charity event and thought it would be a good read before watching the film as well as giving money to a good cause. Sneaky shout out to a specialΒ place called Little Bridge House in Fremington, Devon that provides essential help for children and there families, what a truly enchanting place. From what I have gathered its slightly dark and mysterious, which sounds right up my alley just now and i’m super excited to start reading it.
  • Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, J.K. Rowling – Now I think it’s a bit criminal that I haven’t read this series before but I endeavour to do so and it is on my list πŸ™‚
  • The Discworld Graphic Novels, The Colour of Magic & The Light Fantastic, Terry Pratchett – Now this is a bit of a different one from the rest, but graphic novels are full of amazing artwork as well as a fantastic storyline. This was gifted to me for my birthday by the before-mentioned boy I now live with πŸ˜› I am open minded and look forward to settling down with this πŸ™‚

I can do a quick update once I have powered through this list on what I thought of them if thats something that would interest everyone πŸ™‚

Thats all for now and I look forward to my next post!
